METHVEN Brand Introduction:

METHVEN, with a history of over 100 years, is a well-known "water application expert" in the bathroom industry and a business card for the manufacturing industry in New Zealand. Originated in 1886, it was founded by Scottish engineer George Methven in Dunedin, New Zealand. At first, it was mainly engaged in steel and brass casting. At the beginning of the 20th century, it pioneered the manufacture of New Zealand's first four-wheel car and the first turbine washing machine. The gene of "technological innovation" has been rooted in the brand of Methven since its inception. In the 1920s, MacArthur began to manufacture and sell household products such as faucets and hardware accessories. After World War II, he faced a rapid development opportunity and began to focus on the research and manufacturing of bathroom products. He quickly gained a monopoly advantage in the local market, becoming a true New Zealand national brand, and expanding his sales channels to major markets such as Australia and the United Kingdom.
