Winning the IAI Best Interior Design Award, represents the highest level of award-winning interior design. As the annual award of IAI's highest honor, the award is only awarded to the best works in the field of interior space, the winning works will reflect the designer's core values and innovative capabilities. The award winners will be announced at the IAI Design Awards ceremony, and the winners will be invited to take the stage to receive the grand prize.

The work with the highest design standards in each category will be awarded the 'IAI Gold Award'. The winners of this award will be invited to personally receive the grand prize at the IAI Design Award ceremony.

In each category, the work next to the Gold Award will be awarded the 'IAI Silver Award'. The winners of this award will be invited to receive the grand prize in person at the IAI Design Award ceremony.

The works that are next only to the Silver Award in each category will be awarded the 'IAI Bronze Award'. The winners of this award will be invited to receive the grand prize at the IAI Design Award ceremony.

The works that are next only to the Bronze Award in each category will be awarded the 'IAI Excellence Award'. The winners of this award will be invited to participate in the IAI Design Award ceremony.

Each year, we will select one design team to be awarded "The Most Excellent Design Team of the Year", which aims to recognize the design team with outstanding achievements in innovation and design over the years. This award is only nominated by juries and no acceptation of application.

The IAI awards the「Best Humanistic Care Award」annually. This award is aimed at those who have enough attention for the people's welfare, physical and psychological health, and achieve beneficial and effective design works, which can make people maintain a positive and sunny attitude toward life and feel happy, which compassionate the marginalized and vulnerable people and give them the same amount of material and spiritual enjoyment. The award is selected by a joint vote of the jury and no acceptation of application.

The IAI awards the「Best Environment Friendly Award」annually. This award is aimed at those who have reasonable solutions in the life cycle of a range of products, including the use of resources, the manufacture of products, the use of space, and the recycling and reuse of materials, taking full account of the impact of space on the environment. Works that embody the concept of sustainable development and lifestyle with the lowest consumption for the best results. This award is only nominated by juries and no acceptation of application.

The IAI awards the「Jury Special Award」annually. The Jury Special Award is jointly voted by a panel of juries to recognize and encourage the uniqueness and creativity of the work. It represents the comprehensive ability and exceptional design expression of the winner. This award is only nominated by juries and no acceptation of application.

The IAI awards the「Lifetime Achievement Award 」every two years. The award is designed to commend professional designers, professors, experts and scholars over the age of 60 who have made outstanding contributions in industrial design (Age restriction can be relaxed for special conditions).This award is only nominated by juries and no acceptation of application.

Designers 、Designing organizations、 Real estate agents and related organizations

All completed design projects and the projects that have not yet been implemented are eligible for the competition.

Participants are responsible for their works return after the award ceremony，or delegate the IAI Design Award Organizing Committee to send it back. Participants are responsible for their own transfer fees, customs, etc. The works in China will be returned in freight collect.The works abroad will be returned by the participants themselves with related documents, such as express waybill, invoice, cargo loading and unloading list, etc.Please contact the express specialist to pick up the pieces at the designated place.

IAI holds the IAI International Design Festival and Award ceremony annually, to which all winners are invited.

*Calculation: If you submitted a total of two entries, the second work is free. If you submitted a total of three entries, only the second work is free. If you submitted a total of four entries, the second and the fourth works are free. Free entry fee only applies in the work submitted, not including fees of assessment show and winners’ service charge.

Second Round of Review: Review Display Fee

Participants who submit their works in the early and regular period will not be required to pay the second round of review display fees after their works have been selected for the first round of review. There is no one free one for the judging fee. Attention: if you remit money in the name of the company, you can open an ordinary invoice (1% tax point)

IAI Design Award winners are obligated to purchase the "Winners basic service package". Winners of IAI Interior Design Award should purchase this package at the same time. The service package include the right to use the IAI Label, the works to be shown on the IAI Design Award Online Exhibition, and receiving the IAI Design Yearbook.
