The IAI issues an IAI Lifetime Achievement Award every two years, aimed at recognizing professional designers, professors, experts, or scholars aged 60 and above who have made outstanding contributions in the field of design (age restrictions may be relaxed under special conditions). This award is not open for registration and is only nominated by the IAI Jury.

The IAI Jury Special Award is presented annually to recognize and encourage the uniqueness and creativity of the work, representing the recipient's comprehensive ability and extraordinary design expression. This award does not accept registration for evaluation and will be jointly voted by the judging committee.

The IAI awards the "IAI Best Environmentally Friendly Award" annually, aimed at providing reasonable solutions throughout the product lifecycle, including resource utilization, product manufacturing, space use, and material recycling and reuse. The award fully considers the impact of space on the environment and embodies the concept of sustainable development and sustainable lifestyle that achieves the best results with minimal consumption. This award does not accept registration for evaluation and is only nominated by the judging committee.

The IAI awards the "IAI Best Humanistic Care Award" every year, aimed at designing works that have sufficient and sufficient attention to human welfare and physical and mental health, and achieve beneficial and effective results. Works that can help people maintain a positive and sunny attitude towards life and emotions, and experience happiness and happiness. Works that care for and provide equal material and spiritual enjoyment to marginalized and vulnerable groups. This award does not accept registration for evaluation and will be jointly voted by the judging committee.

IAI awards the "IAI Annual Excellent Design Team" annually, aiming to recognize design teams that have achieved remarkable achievements in innovation and design performance over the years. This award does not accept registration for evaluation and is only nominated by the jury from the candidate design team.

The works in each category, second only to the Bronze Award, will be awarded the IAI Excellence Award. The winners of this honor will be invited to participate in the IAI Design Awards ceremony.

The works in each category, second only to the Silver Award, will be awarded the IAI Bronze Award. The winner of this honor will be invited to personally come on stage to receive the award at the IAI Design Awards ceremony.

Works in each category that are second only to the gold medal level will be awarded the IAI Silver Award. The winner of this honor will be invited to personally come on stage to receive the award at the IAI Design Awards ceremony.

The works with the highest design level in each category will be awarded the IAI Gold Award. The winner of this honor will be invited to personally come on stage to receive the award at the IAI Design Awards ceremony.

Winning the IAI Best Interior Design Award represents the award-winning work standing at the pinnacle of interior design. This award is only awarded to the most outstanding works in the field of interior design, and the award-winning works will reflect the designer's core values and innovative abilities. The list of winners will be announced on the spot during the IAI Design Award ceremony, and the award-winning designers will be invited to personally come on stage to receive the award.

Award to the client who has the closest and most effective cooperation with the award-winning project, highlighting their important role and value in the cooperation.

IAI holds its annual IAI International Design Festival and award ceremony, and all winners will be invited to attend this event.

If indoor award works require a model to be returned, the return time is after the award ceremony. Or entrust the IAI organizing committee to send it back on behalf of you. Participants must bear the transportation, customs duties, and other costs incurred by returning the item. Works within China will be returned on a collect basis, while works from overseas will be prepared by participants according to the designated withdrawal date. The required documents for return, such as express waybills, formal invoices, and cargo loading and unloading notes, will be prepared by the participants themselves, and they will contact the courier company's specialist to arrive at the designated location for pick-up.

Participants of the IAI Indoor Award are mainly required to submit graphic and textual materials, and can also submit model works as supplementary materials as needed. However, participants need to arrange transportation and installation by themselves. If there is an insurance requirement, participants need to purchase it themselves.

IAI Design Award winners have an obligation to purchase recipient rights services. To win the IAI Indoor Award, one should also purchase the recipient's rights. The recipient rights service includes the right to use the IAI Design Award logo, the IAI Award Yearbook, and online exhibitions of award winning works.

The basic service package for IAI winners includes:

(Hold a one week exhibition of award-winning works at the IAI Design Awards exhibition site)

(The award-winning product should be displayed on at least 1/1 page in the IAI Design Yearbook (basic; 2/1 page can be applied for)

- IAI Design Award Online Exhibition

(Display award-winning products in graphic and textual form for at least one year in online exhibitions)

*Calculation: If you submit a total of 2 entries, the second one will be free of charge. If you submit a total of 3 entries, only the second one is free. If you submit a total of 4 entries, the second and fourth entries will be free of charge. The free entry fee only applies to the submission fee of the entries, and does not include the evaluation and display fee or the service fee for the winners* Students can enjoy a 50% discount when registering for the competition. If they win, the corresponding fees will be paid uniformly according to the award service fee standard.

Second round of evaluation: evaluation fee

Participants who submit their works in the early and regular periods are only required to pay the second round of evaluation display fee after their works have been selected for the first round of evaluation. There is no one get one discount for the review fee. Refer to the competition process.
