Jamie is a metal spinning aluminum pen. Different from ordinary pens, Jamie ejects the refill by the spinning and retreats the refill by the light touch which is convenient and efficient. It is a salute to the design concept of Bauhaus “less is more”. Furthermore, we try to cancel the pen clip for this pen so that the smoothness and consistency of its appearance and hand feel can be more outstanding. Jamie adopts the pen holder of aluminum alloy by the environmentally friendly nickel free plating and aluminum oxidation. Its metal surface is applied with two processes which are sand blast and anodic oxidation to enhance the hand feel of holding with the pen and the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the pen body. The pen holder is also added with the design of salient point to pay the role of anti-roll. It is discovered through the investigation in the experiment that pens with the diameter of larger than 10mm is very likely to make people feel fatigue for over half an hour. The diameter of Jamie which is 9.6mm is appropriate with both the aesthetics and comfort. This pen is applied with the refill manufactured with the technology from Switzerland incorporated with the non-toxic ink imported from South Korea.
