Located at the intersection of Yancheng, where the longest coast in Jiangsu is, the city is considered as “the wetland city on the east coast.” The fluidity of the garden landscape is integrated with the flow of buildings. Blending the landscape into the interior, the designer creates a lake scenery at the place. The design is inspired by the artistic symbol of ripples, the image that connects the cultural memory of Yancheng with elegant lines of modernity.
Immersed in nature with materials of stone, wood and bamboo, the design is a combination of tradition and modernity, a conversation between art and humanity, a coexistence of presence and vision. Light grey stone patterns, elegant wooden textures and graceful weave are set as the basis of the space, and white textile material is used as the top cover.
