The original house type of this project was a relatively square two-room house type with a separate kitchen. We wanted to optimize the openness of the overall space. In the layout of the living room, the design concept of "decentering" is expressed, advocating that there are no figurative objects to divide each space, focusing on the integration of functional properties of space, and the definition of space is no longer restricted by furniture or walls. The definition of space is no longer limited by furniture or walls. The focus of the public area is shifted from furniture to people. Whether it is the seating area by the fireplace, the dining table in the center island, or the round dining table in the corner, all become the core of the space because of the presence of people. In addition, in the treatment of the ceiling and wall structure, a large number of rounded streamline shapes are used, while softening the light through curtains and combining the lighting effect of natural light, so that natural light can be more softly and smoothly over to every corner of the space.
