Professor Li-Chuan Evelyn Mai, graduated from the University of Westminster in London in 2001 with a PhD in Communication, is the Dean of the School of Film and Television Arts and the Associate Dean of the Academy of Film and Creative Technology, PhD supervisor at the Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Currently, she is also the Council Member of the Experimental Teaching Committee of the Chinese Collegial Association for Visual Arts, the Council Member of the Suzhou City Film and Television Arts Association, and the Vice-President of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and Urban Development Research Association.

Professor Li-Chuan Evelyn Mai's research interests include media management and cultural industry management, and her main topics include the operation and management of television stations and online platforms, television program planning and strategy, film and television market and audience research, social media research, new media research, cultural industry park business model, media convergence research, international media research, media corporate culture and strategy research, etc.
