Akita Bugu

Shiwu Resort Hotel is originally a Hakka walled village which was built in Qing Dynasty. The village retains the architectures which have been classified as historical relics, including a tower for war defense, an ancestral temple and the houses. On the basis of the original houses, the designer combines new and old elements, mixing modern fashion with traditional architectural style of Hakka, and then the old houses are refreshed and added with new flavor of modernized architecture. With multiple open courtyards and patios, the houses are adorned with ponds and gentle landscaping, showing the architectural concepts of Hakka. The interconnecting structure creates a layered effect and a special experience for guests, unveiling new spaces, levels and ambiances at every turning. It used to be a place where generations of villagers lived, unrepaired and dilapidated. President Akita proposed that phase II was to provide enougn standard rooms as the main guest room layout. At the same time, it is convenient to undertake company group building, weddings and other groups, and expand Marketing in package form.

This building adopts the shape of cuckoo bird house, both phase are surrounded by the tall trees in the yard, dialogue with each other. Combined with the curve of the phase I moving line, the triangular circulation of the landscape is then set up. Meanwhile it shapes the whole Qiutian Bugu courtyard a clover shape.

Considering the nature light, ventilation, privacy and insulation , the landscape view is reserved for the guest room area, The main guest room faces south, and the Sunshine Book Bar serves as a gray space to promote north-south ventilation in the guest room area, while reducing the area of the guest room corridor and increasing the utilization rate of the entire second floor space.

The design of the phase II, with growth and youth as the axis, runs through the children's fun of the first phase, forming a complete story chain, with the examination paper as the visual guidance.

The examination paper flying all over the sky with the summer breeze. Some of them fell in front of a room, then recognized as the door number with a class number. The examination paper forms a spiral and upward guiding line, traces the track of our growth, makes the space flow up and down naturally.
