With the objective of designing the aesthetic and functional infrastructure, the project is located in Shenzhen, China. It’s inspired by the target group, sanitation workers. Sanitation workers are deemed to be the trees in cities by the designer. Therefore, the designer interprets trees in an abstract form and transforms the project into a tree, a cozy harbour where sanitation workers can slow their pace and rest for a while. The inner design allows free modular combinations of different functions to provide the most suitable environment for rest. Besides, the low-reflectivity glass and matte metal help it get along well with surroundings.
