We put the main entry route in the basement garage. The empty floor of the original basement is not high enough, the function and visual effect of the space is not ideal, after site investigation and comprehensive building structure, we excavate the basement floor 60 cm down, which makes the floor height increase, to get more floor space.
We have boldly transformed the basement into a loft with a multi-functional entertainment space with a sky-lifting vision, and have opened up the underground space from the vertical to the original space on the first floor, making it functionally connected and spatially interactive, it has high ornamental value in vision.
The main function of the mezzanine floor is the storage and cloakroom function, which they must go through every day to go home. Through the mezzanine floor, they form a transitional relationship between the spaces and form a functional and visual buffer between the stairs. From the function and the spatial relations, lets the entire movement and the spatial use become more beautiful, is more reasonable.
The horizontal space of the original ground floor is intricately divided. We decided to make a major adjustment to the original ground floor space, combining the composition of the host's family and the planning of the negative first floor space. The original building non-load-bearing wall removed, and then re-planning space division, comb out a clear spatial structure and movement.
Sunshine
Newly opened floor-to-ceiling windows on the closed wall, introducing outdoor sunshine and outdoor landscape into the room from multiple angles, so that the original simple and blank indoor space can skillfully form a multi-level, simple but not monotonous spatial relationship through borrowing scenes. The participation of natural environment makes the space smart and greatly meets the expectations of the owner for the home environment. Minimalist expression of space design, combined with floor-to-ceiling windows with different shapes, can enjoy the sunshine from any corner.
