“exploring the inheritance and sustainable development of Chinese traditional culture in modern interior design” is the design strategy of this case. The design inspiration of the project mainly comes from Chinese ink painting. The designer takes " brush, ink, paper and inkstone " as the element, draws lessons from the expression of ink painting art, outlines the essence of space with simple lines, and then "chap, wipe, dot, dye" along the vein, stack and combine different colors, materials, lights and decorations and other elements, Integrate traditional culture into the modern design, present a wonderful space with oriental temperament.
A good ink painting is good at using white space to blend with black. Through white space, we can not only broaden the range of color gamut, increase the level change between light and dark, but also can give people unlimite imagination space and create the artistic effect of "every place without painting becomes a wonderful place". In this case, the walls and ceilings are designed with large area of white space, with dark wood, stone and metal to form the main tone of black-and-white ink, and then injected into the navy blue and ochre that the literati like, supplemented by the cinnabar red of the seal as the finishing touch, the whole space is like a slowly unfolding modern landscape painting.
