Walking along the shady path into the Jimei Lake Haosheng Hotel, a huge red IAI visual image stood prominently on the lintel in the center of the hotel building, particularly eye-catching. Its logo design complemented this exquisite Minnan style building, showcasing the style of the IAI Award. The 14th/15th IAI Global Design Awards Ceremony will be held here grandly. Hundreds of design experts, IAI award-winning designers, government leaders, representatives of major media, universities, enterprises, and the cultural and artistic industry from both domestic and international sources will gather at the ceremony to witness the birth of various IAI Design Awards.
At 6:30, when the host announced that the IAI Award Ceremony was now starting, a Modern dance performance with great visual impact immediately appeared on the scene. The dance was composed of four elements of "wind, water, fire and earth" throughout the whole scene. The winners and award-winning works of various IAI awards announced at the award ceremony are impressive, fully demonstrating the high value of IAI award works. The award was first won by a local architectural institution from China, breaking the record of foreign designers winning the award. Vice Mayor of Xiamen, Zhuang Rongliang, and core member of the IAI Jury, Kees Spanjers, jointly announced the award and presented it to the winners. Equally eye-catching is the award ceremony for the IAI Hall of Fame winners who have made outstanding contributions to promoting design development. At the award ceremony, the establishment ceremony of the Asia Pacific Designers Alliance Art and Technology Research Center was also held.
